Return, Refund & Exchange Policy
At D’Ophir, we take pride in our handmade, made-to-order designs crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Because our pieces are created specifically for you, we’ve designed our policies to ensure fairness while providing peace of mind. Below is our comprehensive policy to ensure transparency and confidence in your shopping experience.
Products are clearly marked as either ready-to-ship or made-to-order on their respective product pages.
Ready-to-Ship Items
Ready-to-ship items – including ready-to-wear, capsule drops, and pre-season collections – are eligible for a refund of the item’s cost (excluding shipping fees) if returned in unworn, unwashed condition with all original tags and packaging intact.
- Items must be returned within 20 days of receipt, as confirmed by the shipping carrier. Returns received after this period will not be accepted. To initiate a return, kindly download and complete the return form and email it to us.
- The buyer is responsible for all return shipping arrangements and must ensure the item is safely delivered to our studio within the stated timeframe. Once the item is received and inspected, a refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Made-to-Order Items
All made-to-order pieces are final sale. These items are crafted specifically to your selected size and custom preferences and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged.
We encourage you to review your measurements and order details thoroughly before completing your purchase. If you have any questions, our team is always available to assist prior to ordering.
Exchanges
Exchanges apply only to ready-to-ship items. If you are not fully satisfied with your item, you may request an exchange for store credit within 7 days of delivery.
- Items must be returned in unworn, unwashed condition with all original tags and packaging intact.
- Store credit will be issued for the item’s value, excluding shipping costs.
- All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
- Made-to-order items are not eligible for exchange.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective:
- Notify us within 1-2 days of delivery with details and photographs of the issue
- Upon review and approval, we will offer a repair, replacement, or store credit
Order Cancellations
Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun. However, if you contact us within 24 hours of placing your order, we will do our best to accommodate changes or cancellations.
Shipping Policy
- Processing Time: Couture and handmade pieces require 8 – 15 business days of processing after order placement
- Shipping Time: Delivery typically takes 2 – 5 business days via DHL or FedEx, depending on destination
- Shipping Costs: Calculated at checkout; all shipping charges are borne by the buyer
- Taxes and Duties: Import taxes, customs duties, and local charges are the buyer’s responsibility
