Return, Refund, Exchange, and Shipping Policy
At D’Ophir, we take pride in our handmade, made-to-order designs crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Because our pieces are created specifically for you, we’ve designed our policies to ensure fairness while providing peace of mind. Below is our comprehensive policy to ensure transparency and confidence in your shopping experience.
Returns and Exchanges
- Made-to-Order Items: As our pieces are handcrafted and made specifically for you, they are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective.
- Exchange for Store Credit: If you are not fully satisfied, you may request an exchange within 7 days of delivery. Once approved, we will issue store credit equal to the value of your purchase (minus the shipping cost), which can be used toward future orders.
Conditions for Returns or Exchanges
To qualify for a return or exchange:
- Items must be in their original condition: unworn, unwashed, and with all tags and seals intact
- Items must be returned in their original packaging
- Requests must include proof of purchase (order number and receipt) and, if claiming damage or defect, photographs of the item.
- All shipping, taxes, and any relative fees for returned items are the responsibility of the buyer.
- The item must be shipped to us safely for inspection and approval to be eligible for store credit or an exchange.
Non-Eligible Items
- Customized or personalized designs.
- Items returned without prior approval.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective:
- Notify us within 3 days of receiving your item with details and photographs of the issue.
- We will offer a repair, replacement, or store credit after inspecting and approving the claim.
Order Cancellations
Orders cannot be canceled once production has started. However, if you contact us within 24 hours of placing your order, we will do our best to accommodate changes or cancellations.
Shipping Policy
- Processing Time: For couture and handmade pieces, processing takes 8-15 business days after your order is placed. Once completed, items are shipped via DHL or FedEx.
- Shipping Time: Delivery typically takes 2-5 business days to most countries.
- Shipping Costs: Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.
- Taxes and Duties: Import taxes, duties, and any other fees imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the buyer.
Returns Shipping Responsibility
- For all returns or exchanges, the buyer is responsible for shipping costs and any related fees, including taxes.
- Returned items must be packaged securely to ensure safe arrival. We are not responsible for items damaged or lost during return shipping.
- Returns will be inspected upon receipt. Only items approved through inspection will be eligible for a refund in store credit or an exchange.
