Look 17 – The Molten Magma Dress

Description

Inspired by the molten magma, the dress captures the state of human emotions where feelings are raw, unprocessed and sometimes trapped. For this dress, we sat in a state of question. The emotions we want to capture here is a feeling of question and rawness, a trapped eruption. The grey areas of human emotion that isn’t colorless or bland, rather too big to be explained.

Made in more than 2500 hours of hand embroidery, the molten magma dress features bugle beads and sequins that creates a life like movements to depicts liveness and flow of a moving magma and crystallised skirt
